a church group

Life groups

Small, relaxed meet ups where we read the Bible, explore what it means to be a Christian, pray and enjoy time together. We presently have three life groups running day time and evenings, two in-person and one online.

Chat n Pray with the Pastor

Relaxed conversation, prayer and community. We start with a short faith-based chat, followed by a period of reflection and prayers specific to our discussion. We bring the evening to a peaceful close with a short evening prayer. Weekly.

Eric’s prayer group

A time of shared stillness and active faith. We pray for clarity, strength, guidance, peace and healing, for each other, our local communities and the world around us. Please do let us know your prayer requests. Monthly.

Julian Meetings

An opportunity to practise silent, contemplative prayer in the Christian tradition. Starts with a short reading or piece of music, followed by silence as we remain open to the presence of God. New people welcome. Monthly.

Community drop-in

Bring all your questions about Christianity or chat about your faith journey. As well as faith support, our drop-ins also offer a place to connect with others and receive help with things like letter writing and form filling. Monthly.

Lent and Advent courses

Shared study and quiet contemplation as we head towards Easter and Christmas. An opportunity to explore the core of Christian faith as we reflect on Jesus’s life, the significance of the cross and what it means to follow Jesus. All welcome.

Ink and Spirit Christian book club

A place for everyone who enjoys lively discussion and good hearted debate. We read books that spark curiosity, inform, inspire, challenge our thinking and open our minds. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Alternate months.

Summer fete

Featuring lots of traditional favourites, from hoopla and craft stalls to ‘guess the weight of the cake’, and with a great community feel. It’s become a place to enjoy good chat with homemade cake while children bond over shared games.

From time to time

We love hosting socials throughout the year, from film nights and guest speakers to crafting sessions and cream teas. Like to join us for a seasonal pancake party, games evening or a simple soup supper? Keep an eye on our calendar.

Come and see us...

If our community church sounds like something you might like to be a part of, feel free to pop along on Sunday morning or, if you prefer, give us a call.
